The New World takes place in a Pseudo-Canadian Modern Setting, largely similar to the real world.
Many place names are the same as their real-world counterpart. The story however, does not take place in actual Canada, but a fictional one.
To put it simply, its like Forks, Washington, the real town in which the fictional “Twilight” universe is set. While there is a Forks, Washington in the real world, all of the places Bella and the other characters visit likely don’t exist.
With that in mind, let’s share some of the settings and how they will look in the game. Here’s a gallery of the various locations that the characters will see in battle.
We will also be sharing maps of the various dungeons and towns you’ll find in the game below.
The Forest Outskirts
The Forest Outskirts is near Rob, Stan and Keith’s house and the gateway to the deeper parts of the woods. Wildlife is known to be seen on these trails, but its rare to see more mystical creatures in this part of the woods.
The Forest Outskirts is also home to a large pond, which eventually feeds into more swampy terrain. Its advised to stay out of the deeper sections of the woods if you haven’t made proper preparations.
Several hunters have claimed to hear singing near the forest pond.
The Wild Woodlands
The Wild Woodlands is a deeper part of the local forest, frequented by hunters and trappers and home to a variety of animals. Explorers can find caves in the deeper area of the woods, along with the entrance to more hilly terrain.
This is where Stan Howard does several of his hired jobs for local hunters and collectors.
