The Creep is another of the early enemies that you meet in the game and another monster I wanted to get just right.

When I first sketched this monster, I was surprised by some of the early reactions I was getting to it. Quite a few people I showed it to thought it was cute! Didn’t think cute was the best description for it, but I ran with it.

For me, I always felt the creep should be similar to like a carbuncle kind of monster or a real world fox. I had sketched him out a couple of months ago, then have tweaked it a couple of times recently.

There is two alternate versions of this in the works. One of the undead variety, the other a much younger version. Both will be important to the storyline going ahead.
